From the minute I enter the door of Cypress Massage everything about the experience makes me feel good. Drawing on her background knowledge of interior design, Paige Peoples has created an environment for massage that is serene and soothing. Her welcoming smile and her calm, professional manner set me at ease no matter how tense I may be from the cares of my day.

Enjoying a massage is important but what I value most is the healing that has occurred over the time that I've been one of Paige's regular clients. A year ago a doctor told me that I did not need gall bladder surgery; that I was just "wound too tight". Unable to unwind, I got by on over -the- counter remedies until a friend of a friend phoned me one night to tell me about a massage therapist in town, Paige Peoples.

Seven months of Paige's Swedish massages (and an occasional Thai massage) have rid me of what the physician considered stress- induced gastric problems. I wouldn't say that I'm no longer "tightly wound". But I am convinced that the key to my improved physical well-being is regular use of therapeutic massage.

Today when I arrived at Paige's door I felt exhausted. An intense heaviness hung over me. I wondered if I was coming down with something. An hour later I drove away refreshed and relaxed.

Thai Massage combines gentle yoga-like stretching with energy line work. The goal of Thai is to treat the whole person, restoring you to a state of balance. A Thai massage session takes place on a mat on the floor while you remain fully dressed in comfy clothing

Hot Stone Massage

The Hot stone treatment uses natural basalt stones heated in a warm water bath and then applied in a Swedish-style massage. The deep penetrating heat relieves sore muscles, stiffness and stress as the stones glide smoothly over tired muscles.

Ear Candling

The practice of using ear candles is an ancient practice of treating the inner ear with soothing warm air created by candle heat. Ear wax softens, along with other debris and sinus fluid leaving the ear clean and refreshed.
